"Education & Life Skills Through Football in Penang Malaysia"
Level 2 Course Content
This 18 hour course is designed to provide coaches with the foundation tools and material to deliver safe, engaging and functional soccer training sessions for youth players and novice players. This course is conducted in the English language.
Following the Level 2 course graduating coaches will be offered the opportunity for a practical and observational internship with the English Soccer School. This is a tangible opportunity to work closely with and to receive mentoring from certified English FA , UEFA and AEAC qualified coaches in Penang Penang Indonesia and the UK
All participating players are recommended to have adequate personal insurance before participation on the course. All participating players will be required to sign a waiver before their application is approved.
The Advanced Euro Asian Certificate (AEAC) of Football Coaching: Level 2 is designed and delivered by an English FA Educator.
This course does not prohibit players from participating based on age or experience.

Induction and registration 3 hours to include theory modules on:
Practical demonstration of various activities, exercises and small-sided games suitable for youth players of aspiring ability aged 8 – 16. Activities will be selected to complement the ESS curriculum.
In line with new ideas in UK best practices to show the game in its easiest format that would be acceptable to pass the award, but also how to build and progress the practice for the older players.

In line with new ideas in UK best practice to show the game in its easiest format that would be acceptable to pass the award, but also how to build and progress the practice for the older senior players.
Practical demonstration of how to incorporate the goalkeeper into outfield training.
In pairs, or groups of three, plan prepare and deliver a practice session of 2 or 3 activities based on the exercises shown in section 2 and/or 3. The tutor will give written and verbal feedback on the session to provide action plan points for individual assessments. Candidates will each have an input into the practice session in preparation for their own practice. This will also encourage students to work as a team. Sessions will last approx. 30 minutes.
Criteria to successfully pass this award is 100% attendance, participation, working with others and completion of all relevant tasks. Plus 1 mock and 1 individual assessed session.
